FEP (Fluorinated ethylene propylene) is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene with a lower melt viscosity than PTFE, a value that can be melt extruded and molded, with a maximum continuous use temperature of 200℃. With PTFE has similar chemical resistance, electrical properties, mainly used for wire insulation / sheath or pipe bar extrusion.
FEP pipe is widely used in wire and cable, heat exchanger, heat shrinkable tube and anti-corrosion lining pipe fittings in chemical industry.
Feature
Good transparency and visibility
Smooth inner wall, non-sticky, no scaling inside or outside the pipe wall
Low coefficient of friction, reducing the frictional resistance of the medium in the tube
Good chemical and corrosion resistance
Good electrical properties, providing insulation protection
