Polytetrafluoro ethylene is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether, and is a fluoropolymer that can be melt-processed. It has almost the same excellent properties as PTFE in the very low to very high temperature range, with good transparency. Compared to FEP, it has higher mechanical high temperature properties.PFA has low friction, non-stick, low hygroscopicity, and especially non-leaching properties, making it the material of choice for high purity applications. PFA-HP series ultrapure tubing is manufactured from ultrapure PFA raw material with less fluoride ion and other impurities precipitated, and is mainly used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and semiconductor wet process equipment to transport high-purity chemicals and gases.
