PFA (Polytetrafluoro ethylene) is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether, and is a fluoropolymer that can be melt processed.
Almost as good as PTFE in the very low to very high temperature range with good transparency. Higher mechanical high temperature properties compared to FEP.
PFA tubes are mainly used in semiconductor-related manufacturing equipment, biopharmaceutical, chemical anticorrosion and other industries as a high-purity reagent delivery pipe; heat exchangers, steam piping; a variety of corrosive media (harsh solvents) delivery pipe; a variety of frequencies of wire and cable sheathing insulating jacket and so on.
